About Us
Oak Spring Academy provides early childhood development programs for children aged 12 months to grade school-age children. We use Creative Curriculum, a research-based, whole-child preschool curriculum for infants, toddler, preschool, and pre-K. It supports children’s confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills through hands-on, project-based investigations.
You will receive daily reports and monthly newsletters to keep you updated on your child's activities. Our daily scheduled programs include small group time, circle time, art exploration, outside time twice a day (weather permitting), music & movement, math & science. We offer nutritious snacks and hot meals prepared in an allergy-sensitive environment. Our menu follows the State of Ohio Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines.
At our family and locally-owned early childhood education center, we strive to hire caring individuals who provide a safe and happy environment for your child.

Our Mission Statement
Oak Spring Academy’s mission is to provide affordable daycare to diverse families within the Lebanon community. We provide a range of age-appropriate learning opportunities for children from 12 months to grade school age to develop and grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally, while also learning the physical skills necessary for day-to-day life.
Our Philosophy
Oak Spring Academy’s is dedicated to providing a warm and loving family environment for children. With our smaller size, we are able to give quality, individualized care to families at affordable prices. Many basic child care necessities are provided at no additional cost by the center, including healthy meals and snacks. This helps reduce some of the stress for families where finances are an issue.
As we view the center as a family, the importance of family bonds cannot be understated. Siblings are encouraged to interact with one another, and we want everyone involved, children parents, and staff alike, to feel like they are part of our extended family.
Children here are encouraged to be children; we do not believe they are small adults. The individual progress, growth, and development of every child is important to us. The environment at the center promotes learning while having fun during the process. Through a mixture of hands-on experiences, group activities, and individual play, our children develop the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical skills necessary for all aspects of life and growth.
Parent comments and suggestions are encouraged and are taken into serious consideration as we continually adapt to new challenges. The children are not the only ones who are engaged in the learning experience; all of our staff and parents also learn from the children.
